This is my journey...

I find myself in a blessed place...a happy place. I, by no means, have arrived. I am enjoying the journey. This blog is a culmination of what I have learned and am learning still.

I am a gratefully spoiled wife and a joyful homeschooling Mom of two wonderful boys. I tutor during the school term as I work a part time job and work on my associates degree in nutrition. I make time to regularly exercise and savor healthy, mostly whole, traditional foods. I've discovered so much by observing, reading, and studying.

Life has not always been pleasant. I have had struggles same as most everyone else. At times I felt so broken. Faith, family, and friends helped me overcome with joy. So, here I am: grateful, joyful, blessed!

This blog journals my continued journey: physical, scholastic, homeschooling, personal growth, etc... Maybe my journey will encourage you in yours.

Set your goals. Also, list why you have those goals. Put both where you will see them every day.

Believe Achieve Receive

It's been a fractured week. Emotional stumbling blocks have seemingly come out of nowhere causing me to do a double take. Kids and us parents smacked with some type of upper respiratory junk (thinking allergies but not 100% sure).I've been on auto-pilot, easy mode. Not the best of things to be. BUT I did discover in looking back that many of the auto-pilot habits are now good habits! YAY!

I sit here (with head pounding) taking stock and reconnecting with the fallen goals of this week. I've written down the things that I loved to do as a child, teen and young adult. I've jotted down who inspires me and why. I described what my core values and beliefs are, what is dear to my heart, and what my goals are. Of the words that I have scribbled down, these are the repeated ones: vibrant, strong, successful, believe, achieve, and free. Then across my mind scitters the words:

Believe Achieve Receive
 


And I think, "I can do this! Even with a few stumblings, I.can.do.this!"
